03How it stays hidden
Not a trick. Built on the operating system.
Copilot doesn't fight your meeting app. It uses the window protections Windows and macOS provide for exactly this.
Hidden from capture
What the panel shows when protection is on: nothing. The badge only appears when something is wrong.
Windows: excluded from capture
Copilot sets the system's own capture-exclusion flag on its window (Windows 10 version 2004 or later), so screen shares and recorders skip it.
macOS: window sharing off
The window is marked as not shareable, so screen sharing and recording leave it out. A few newer capture apps can ignore this, so test yours once.
The pointer goes with it
Over Copilot, the real pointer is hidden and redrawn inside the protected window, so the share never shows a pointer moving over nothing.
It tells you if it isn't hidden
If protection is ever not in effect, a red badge appears in the panel. Do one test share with your meeting app before a big call.
Nothing is recorded
Audio streams straight to speech-to-text for the live captions, and only recent captions go to the AI for talking points. Zorkify doesn't store your calls.
